Summer day 70 continued - Well, that's it, 25 minutes complete.  Better than nothing.  Maybe tomorrow I will have results to write about regarding changes in different city sizes?

Summer day 70 - Paper two, again.  Not much to write yet, so I will brainstorm for the discussion section.  Writing now!

Summer day 69 - Just finished one hour on paper two assessing changes in nine footprints across China.  Not sure how much more I can write if I don't have results... 

Summer day 68 - Writing now... on paper #2!

Summer day 65 - Back at it!  Starting paper #2 of the summer.

Summer days 63-64 - Sadly, no writing.  I am in trouble, I suppose....

Summer days 57-58, 61-62 - Finished the paper!  Writing nearly all day, all four days.

Summer day 56 - Writing now.  I will finish this thing!!

Summer day 55 complete - Finished some overall revisions.  Still need to tackle land use specialization - might be wise to finally meet with Chaoyi to finish up the analysis.  Otherwise I am essentially stuck, it seems.

Summer day 55 - Starting writing now!  Well, doing the reading part, actually.  Hopefully inspiration will come:)

Summer day 54 (July 15th) - Wrote or assessed results nearly the whole day.  Things are going slowly.  Need to read and then pick up the pace on this results section!

Summer day 51 - Land use specialization in Western Chinese cities.  Here goes nothing.

Summer day 50 complete - Probably a good 90 minutes at most, but better than nothing.  Just about finished with polycentricity.  Moving on to land use specialization.  Ugh.  No idea how to write this -- this section is going to be soooooo descriptive.

Summer day 50 - Writing began about 11 am!  Working on polycentricity section today, and then land use specialization.

Summer day 49 complete - Finally wrapping up the first section of the results, and also made a very small dent on the discussion.  Here is my most recent figure (still incomplete), to show you where my head has been!  On the docket for tomorrow: results for polycentricity, and something on land use specialization...

Summer day 49 - Back at it!  Writing now...

Summer day 48 complete - A solid 90 minutes, if not more.  Finishing up section 5.1 at last, and just filling in some numbers and checking the population data now...  Will finish section 5.2 tomorrow, and start thinking about 5.3.

Summer days 42-47 - Wish I had something to report here, other than time lost to visit Mutlu's family...
